Eddy Morales is a small business owner, community organizer, and City Council member representing Gresham, Oregon. The child of a single mother born in Mexico, Morales understands the struggles of working families and will work in Congress to ensure the neighborhoods he represents are more safe, affordable, and inclusive.

Eddy Morales is a small business owner, community organizer, and City Council member representing Gresham, Oregon. The child of a single mother born in Mexico, Morales understands the struggles of working families and experienced firsthand how public benefits and community support can help break the cycle of poverty and improve a person’s life. Morales has dedicated himself to giving back to Oregon by using his position in public office to advocate for healthcare access, affordable housing, worker’s rights, and ending gun violence. Since 2003 he has helped raise over $60 million in support of these efforts.



He graduated from the University of Oregon where he studied Spanish, Public Policy, and Management. He has spent decades as a community organizer working to uplift underprivileged and historically underrepresented groups.
