ABOUT

ELIOTT RODRIGUEZ FL-27

Democrat for Congress

Eliott Rodriguez has spent his career informing the people of South Florida. As a trusted journalist, he has built his work around listening to the community, telling its stories, and making sure South Floridians have a voice. Now, Eliott is ready to bring that same commitment and experience to Washington and fight for the communities he calls home.

A TRUSTED VOICE FOR FLORIDA

The son of Cuban immigrants, Eliott Rodriguez spent more than five decades in broadcast journalism, including 25 years at CBS News Miami, where he reported on the issues and stories that mattered most to South Florida. Before earning his bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Miami, Eliott worked at Publix and McDonald’s to make ends meet. Those experiences shaped his commitment to the working families and communities he would go on to serve through journalism.

Eliott knows families across South Florida are working hard just to keep up. In Congress, he will fight to lower costs, build an economy that rewards hard work, protect Social Security and Medicare, and invest in education.
