RUIDO means noise. In a political world that too often talks about Latino communities instead of with them, RUIDO is turning up the volume.


RUIDO is a national initiative from CHC BOLD PAC that unites Latino creators — across platforms, genres, and generations — to mobilize their communities through the content they already love creating.


This isn’t about scripts or political ads. This is about power, voice, and impact. We give creators the tools, training, and resources to inform, inspire, and engage their audiences on the issues that matter most — in their own voice, on their own terms.

What RUIDO Offers Creators


  • Training & Resources: Workshops, issue briefings, and storytelling resources designed to help you create powerful civic content — without ever handing you a script. You'll get access to data, experts, and tools that deepen your work and sharpen your voice.


  • Travel Stipends: RUIDO offers resources to support travel so you can attend creator events, convenings, and briefings in person — no matter where you're based. We invest in bringing this network together face-to-face.


  • Community: Join a national network of Latino creators across every platform and genre. RUIDO connects you with peers who are building something bigger than any single post — creators who understand what it means to use their platform for their community.


  • Creative Freedom: No scripts. No political ads. RUIDO exists to amplify YOUR voice, not replace it. You decide what to create, how to say it, and where to post it. We provide the resources. The content is yours.


  • Access: Invitations to exclusive briefings and events, and a seat at tables where decisions about your community are being made.


Who Should Apply


RUIDO is built for Latino content creators who are already reaching their communities — and want the tools and support to go further.


You're a fit if you're:


  • A Latino or Latina TikTok storyteller, YouTube educator, Instagram creator, podcast host, Twitch streamer, or newsletter writer


  • Creating content in English, Spanish, Spanglish, or any combination


  • Based anywhere in the United States


  • Already talking to your community about the things that matter — culture, family, money, health, housing, education, identity, or what's happening in your city


  • Ready to add civic engagement to your content without losing what makes your platform yours


You don't need:

  • A massive following — reach matters more than follower count
  • Political experience or policy expertise
  • To be a "political creator," we want creators whose audiences trust them


How it Works


  1. Apply: Tell us about yourself, your platform, and the community you reach. The application takes about 5 minutes.
  2. Get Connected: Selected creators join the RUIDO network and receive training, resources, travel stipends for events, and direct access to the people and information shaping policy for Latino communities.
  3. Create on Your Terms: Make the content you already love — now backed by a national network, real resources, and a community of creators doing the same work. Your voice. Your platform. Your way.


FAQ

Will I be told what to post? No. RUIDO will never hand you a script, require you to post specific content, or tell you what to say. We provide resources, information, and training. What you create with that is entirely up to you.


Is this partisan? RUIDO is a program of CHC BOLD PAC, the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. This program is to encourage Latinos to support Democrats.


Do I need to be a "political creator" to join? Not at all. We're looking for creators whose audiences trust them — whether you make content about cooking, fitness, comedy, music, parenting, beauty, gaming, or anything else. Civic engagement lives everywhere, not just in political content.


Do I get paid? RUIDO provides travel stipends for events and convenings. We'll always be upfront about compensation.


How big does my following need to be? There's no minimum follower count. We care about authentic community reach and trust — not vanity metrics. If your content resonates with your community, we want to hear from you.


What platforms count? All of them. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Twitch, podcasts, newsletters, Facebook, Snapchat — if you're creating content and reaching people, your platform counts.


What's the time commitment? RUIDO is designed to fit into the work you're already doing. There's no posting schedule or mandatory content calendar. You'll be invited to events, briefings, and training sessions — participation is flexible.


How is my information used? Your application information is used solely for determining eligibility for the RUIDO Creator Network and your participation in it if selected. We take your privacy seriously and will never share your personal information outside our team without your consent.
