CHC BOLD PAC Congratulates Seven New Latino Democrats on their Historic Elections to Congress




Washington, D.C. - Tonight, CHC BOLD PAC – the campaign arm of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus – congratulates seven Latino Democratic candidates in their historic elections to Congress: Robert Garcia (CA-42), Yadira Caraveo (CO-08), Maxwell Alejandro Frost (FL-10), Delia Ramirez (IL-03), Rob Menendez (NJ-08), Gabe Vasquez (NM-02), and Greg Casar (TX-35). and on their historic victory. These Members-elect, alongside the current Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, will fight to deliver for all American families.


“Latinos made history on Tuesday. We are excited to welcome these seven new Latino Democrats to Congress next year and are proud of the crucial role BOLD PAC played in their historic victories,” said CHC BOLD PAC Chairman Ruben Gallego. “These candidates are trailblazers that have broken barriers and will be fearless advocates for their communities. BOLD PAC’s mission is to diversify Congress and this cycle, we doubled down on our efforts by recruiting strong Latino candidates across the country and making sure they had the resources they needed to succeed. We’re eager to stand alongside them to fight for our communities in Congress.”


As part of its “Our Lucha” initiative, BOLD PAC transferred over $6 Million to its independent expenditure in support of Latino incumbents and congressional candidates. This is the largest sum of independent expenditure investments in BOLD PAC’s 21 year history. 


The investments have proven pivotal: Caraveo, Frost, Garcia, and Vasquez each benefitted from six figure investments by BOLD PAC to engage and mobilize Latino voters in their districts.


These candidates represent the diversity of the Latino community and are fearless trailblazers who have achieved historic firsts for their communities in the 2022 midterm elections:


- Robert Garcia (CA-42), will be the first Peruvian American and first openly gay immigrant in Congress

- Yadira Caraveo (CO-08), will be the first Latina Congresswoman to represent Colorado at the federal level

- Maxwell Alejandro Frost (FL-10), will be the first Gen Z Member of Congress

- Delia Ramirez (IL-03), will be the first Latina Member of Congress from the Midwest

- Greg Casar (TX-35), will be the first Latino to represent this district

Washington, D.C. – Hoy, CHC BOLD PAC, el brazo de campana del Caucus Hispano del Congreso, felicita a siete nuevos Latino Demócratas en por sus históricas elecciones al Congreso: Robert Garcia (CA-42), Yadira Caraveo (CO-08), Maxwell Alejandro Frost (FL-10), Delia Ramirez (IL-03), Rob Menendez (NJ-08), Gabe Vasquez (NM-02), y Greg Casar (TX-35). Estos miembros electos, junto con el Caucus Hispano del Congreso, lucharán para ayudar a las familias estadounidenses.
