BOLD PAC will partner with local organizations on the ground and empower them to continue educating, organizing, and mobilizing Latino communities in key states across the nation. Jimmy Gomez (CA-34), a proven champion for AI regulation. For Latino and immigrant communities, AI regulation decides whether agencies like ICE can use facial recognition and surveillance tools to track people, misidentify them, and target them. Rep. Gomez is a believer in both the opportunity of AI and the need for regulations - that’s why he has spent years fighting to put limits on those tools. Guardrails Alliance says it supports AI regulation, yet it is spending against him while Republicans block the safeguards it claims to want. “For Latino families, the fight over AI regulation is already personal.
