Brynne Kennedy was raised in a rural community that struggled in the aftermath of manufacturing plant closures. Her father was a veteran and community college teacher, her mother runs a small-town store. With the values of hard work and dedication, Kennedy graduated from Yale and became a competitive gymnast in the US National Junior Elite Training team. Kennedy worked diligently and took a small business endeavor Topia, a software company, and turned it into a global venture that created hundreds of jobs. Under Kennedy's leadership, employees received paid parental leave and employee stock ownership. 

Kennedy is running to bring her experience and ingenuity to Congress, so that she can help establish economic opportunities for the middle class, policies to help increase infrastructure in rural communities, and comprehensive immigration reform.
