Carolyn Bourdeaux has spent her life working to improve the lives of people. After watching her ailing parents drain their bank account to pay for prescription medications, she became a vocal advocate for health care reform. In 2018, she ran an unprecedented race in a traditionally Republican district, losing by less than 2%. She is running again, because she knows that Georgia’s 7th congressional district is ready to flip the seat and be represented by someone who will put partisanship politics aside and always govern for her community.
