Chris Bubser is an engineer by training and former biotech executive who understands the need for clean and renewable energy. Bubser first felt the need to step into public service after the Trump Administration attempted to revoke the Affordable Care Act which allowed millions of Americans with pre-existing conditions to have access to affordable health care. Having personally lived through the health challenges of several close friends and family – who were brought to the brink of financial crisis by costly healthcare expenses— Bubser has fought the repeal of the ACA. He has marched and take his advocacy to Washington, where he has met with Members of Congress and advocated for affordable healthcare coverage for all.
